UKMT Intermediate Challenge

Posted on: 15/03/2018

Recently 60 students from Year 9 and Year 10 took part in the UK Intermediate Maths Challenge set by the UK Mathematics Trust.  The challenge was very difficult and involved problem solving of a range of mathematical situations.

Particular congratulations go to Arthur (Year 9) who was awarded ‘Best in School’ after achieving a high score of 82.  One student received a Gold Award, 10 Silver and 8 Bronze in this year’s UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge, which saw over 235,000 pupils from across the UK sit this important National challenge.

Due to his excellent high scores Arthur took part in the Intermediate Kangaroo Challenge.

Well done to all students who participated and congratulations to all students that were awarded certificates.
