Year 9 Careers Insight Visit to BUPA

Posted on: 15/03/2018

'Year 9 students on a Careers Insight Visit to BUPA headquarters in the City of London were surprised to find that they were working with the chairman of the board, Lord Leitch.

Lord Leitch found time in his busy schedule to talk to the students about his life in the world of business, including when he first moved to London from Scotland, when he lived in Shernhall Street. Lord Leitch offered some advice on what it takes to be successful and his main point was to be prepared to work very hard, he also suggested that courage is an important personal characteristic.

Students were invited to question Lord Leitch which they did with enthusiasm, he was very impressed with the quality of their questions and how they asked direct and challenging questions.'
