Model UN Conference

Posted on: 08/12/2017

Twelve students took part in the London Model UN Conference over the last two days. Students were given a country and committee and tasked with accurately debating the position of that country in regard to the conference's topic  - this time it was Global Health. Model UN is run with exactly the same rules and expectations as the real UN and our students have been preparing for weeks to ensure they know the correct etiquette and the position of their country.

Around 150 students from across London took part and our students, considering it was their first time, performed admirably with many teachers approaching me saying how impressed they were. Luke was awarded Best Delegate for his committee which, considering he was debating against students in Years 11, 12 and 13, was a great achievement.

Please congratulate the students when you see them, they were a credit to the school.

Year 10: Tosin, Elliese, Luke, Max, Gabriella, Diana, Sara, Imaan and Nihitha

Year 9: Danyal, Ramah and Nawal.
