Welcoming Willowfield’s Book Club to all KS3 pupils!

Posted on: 03/04/2017

After much anticipation and preparation, we have now launched our new book club to those that have a passion for reading! This club will provide pupils with a space to explore, question and engage with a variety of texts from different genres. An overwhelming number of students have already signed up and are well into our first novel ‘A Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time’. This has so far, gone down with intrigue and enthusiasm. So much so, pupils have surpassed the set target of pages and have listed many things they are ready to share with their groups! The positive ethos is infectious amongst pupils with both Year 7s and 9s sustaining fruitful conversations.

If you would like more information on our book club speak to Ms Sooklall in Room 119.

Remember, it’s never too late to join the book buzz!
