Letter to Parents 02/03/20

Posted on: 02/03/2020

2 March 2020

Dear Parents/Carers,

Coronavirus

Willowfield will remain open as usual.  You will find information on our website, which will  be updated as and when we receive any new advice or guidance.  The current message is for everyone to wash their hands regularly and thoroughly and we are reminding our students to do this.  Can we ask you to reinforce this with them at home.

School Calendar 2020-21

The above is available on our website to download below.  We are proposing a two week half-term break at the end of October/beginning of November.  During this second week, we will be providing some activities to support you with childcare and further details of this will be on our website nearer the time.  We would welcome your comments or views on this proposal and if you do have any comments, please let us have them by Thursday 26 March.  There will also be an opportunity for you to talk to me, other members of our senior leadership team and some of our Governors on Thursday 26 March at our Parents Tea (details of this are below).

Staff Training Day – Wednesday 11 March

A reminder that school will be closed next Wednesday 11 March for a Staff Training Day.  We will re-open on Thursday 12 March at the usual time.

Parents Tea – Thursday 26 March  6.00 – 7.00 p.m.

You are invited to come along to meet us on 26 March when you will have the opportunity to talk to me, other members of staff and some of our Governors to give us your views on the school calendar for 2020-21 and any other issues that may be on your mind.  So that we have an idea of how many of you would like to come along, can you please complete and return the slip attached by Friday 20 March.

Yours faithfully,

Clive Rosewell

Headteacher
