Year 11 "Strive for Grade 5"

Posted on: 09/04/2019

On Thursday 21st March, 20 Year 11 students, accompanied by Ms. Joseph and Ms. Akther, had the wonderful opportunity to ‘Strive for Grade 5’! The students and teachers travelled to the Troxy Theatre in Limehouse to participate in PiXLs ‘Strive for 5’ English conference.

The day was jam-packed with tips and advice and the students were all given a workbook, which is now full of exemplars and strategies to use for revision. The students even had a motivational speech from ‘Action Jackson’, who motivated the students to pick up revision and put down their phones.

The students and staff had a brilliant day. The English Department are looking forward to seeing these students ‘striving for 5’ in the coming English GCSE exams.
